Reyna Iwamoto is a writer, communications specialist, and journalist based in Washington, D.C. She currently works as Senator Mazie Hirono's Communications Aide on Capitol Hill, writing speeches, remarks, press releases, and other public-facing communications for her. Reyna’s journalism work has appeared in Hawaii News Now, the Bklyner, the Brownstoner, the Brooklyn Paper, and Forbidden Stories.
